Over 18? Yep!
Characters Played: Currently, N/A. Formerly played Sadu Dotharl.
Character Name: Urbosa
Series: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Canon Point: Endgame
Character Age: Unknown. While alive, it can be assumed she was at least mid-thirties to early forties, but spent one hundred years after death imprisoned as a spirit.
Background: Here!
Personality: Urbosa is more or less the "mom friend" of the group, honestly.
Forceful, pragmatic, and carrying herself with innate confidence, Urbosa is practically the poster girl for what the Gerudo tribe has become over many, many years. What were once desert bandits are now a proud people - Ganon and the manipulation of the Gerudo of old sits as a black stain in history that Urbosa and her ilk are eager to remove. Suffice it to say she didn't have entirely altruistic intentions in mind when she took up the Champion blue and became Vah Naboris' pilot. There couldn't be a more fitting end to Calamity Ganon than being struck down by the hand of the people he once enslaved.
But divine beasts and boss monster aside, Lady Urbosa serves as both the voice of experience and as a steadying hand against some of the wilder Champions (cough cough REVALI...), offering pragmatic observations when needed or talking down arguments that are getting out of hand.
When Zelda falters, Urbosa is there to support her and give her encouragement in stead of the deceased queen of Hyrule, practically having taken Zelda under her wing as an adopted niece. She is adept at reading people and the body language in the room around her, taking note of the fledgling relationship between Zelda and her chosen knight long before Zelda herself realizes she has feelings for Link, recognizing disguised Yiga from a glance, so on and so forth.
Unfortunately, Urbosa also has the tendency to not ask for help until things get very bad indeed. Half of the blame can be attributed to Gerudo culture and the necessity to be self-sufficient, but the other half is absolutely from pride. The first time Urbosa admits to having difficulties with the Yiga clan attempting to steal the Thunder Helm is during Zelda's visit in the Champion's Ballad DLC, preceding the game by 100 years. The current chieftain, Riju, would run into the same problem but after asking Link to retrieve it, it could be assumed the Yiga clan's ranks were sufficiently depleted enough not to pose a threat to Gerudo Town any longer.
TL;DR:
Badass ripped desert lightning mama. Doesn't take no shit, pragmatic, and tends to keep her problems to herself. Mom friend of the Champion group.
Powers/Abilities: Aside from being a skilled warrior with scimitar and shield, Urbosa wields the unique ability called Urbosa's Fury.
In game, this equates to summoning a bolt of lightning from the sky to strike her target with devastating effect. It is also capable of a limited AoE sphere that's limited by a cooldown period of 4-12 minutes. While able to stun or inflict damage, it's meant mostly to give the user an opening in combat rather than as a be-all end-all trump card, and has little to no effect on creatures with electrical resistance.
Power Nerfs (if applicable): I'm cool with nerfing the range or strength of Urbosa's Fury if the mods prefer.
Inventory: Gerudo chieftain clothing + champion's skirt, and her weapon - the Scimitar of the Seven.
Incentives: Protection for Zelda, Link, and the other Champions that remain in stasis.
TDM toplevel, and TDM thread with Ryuji.
